What will happen to my personal data when my account is closed?

Closing your Instant GIA account alone will not affect any personal data held by NuWealth. If you wish to delete your personal data, please see our FAQs or contact support at support@nuwealthapp.com.

All essential data, for example personal data linked to your onboarding and KYC process will be kept by NuWealth for the amount of time required by the applicable regulation on Data Protection. To comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, audit, reporting and internal policy requirements – this will often require us to retain information for a minimum of 5 years.
